San Diego’s first FIGHT FOR RELIEF: A Fundraising Fight Night for Philippine Typhoon Relief.

In this holiday season of love, charity and family we invite you to support Fight For Relief: A Fundraising Fight Night for Philippines Typhoon Relief, Saturday December 12th from 5:30 to 10pm. Come see up and coming Filipino mixed martial artists fight to raise funds for Philippine communities affected by the recent typhoon disasters. The night will be judged by celebrity Filipino MMA figures such as Brandon “The Truth” Vera, Mark Munoz and surprise guest judge.
In the wake of the typhoon devastation, Alliance Training Center, Anakbayan, SD, Pinoy Apparel and other community organizations are raising funds for the typhoon relief campaign, “BALSA” Bayanihan Alay Sa Sambayanan = “Raft”.
All donations will be going to those that have been most effected by typhoon disaster. BALSA is integrated with the Filipino people, ensuring all donations will be effectively used to help the urban poor, peasants, women and children, and other sectors of society.
The fight night will also highlight Filipino cultural performances and cuisine. Filipino American MC’s Kiwi of Native Guns and Geologic of Blue Scholars, Filipino cultural performers PASAKAT, eskrima and kali artists Doce Pares, and kulintang music by Pakaraguian Kulintang Ensemble.
